Tigers Thriving in the Wild
A new blog from Trinity ACE (Alumni Career Engagement), providing professional guidance to Trinity alumni.
ACE Celebrates Year 1
This September marks one year since the launch of Trinity's Alumni Career Engagement (ACE) office. We've accomplished some great work over the past 12 months!
Key highlights include:
Hosting the first-ever Young Alumni Summit
55 young alumni participated
12 alumni volunteered to support
Providing 1:1 career consulting support to 37 alumni navigating career transitions
In partnership with San Antonio career consulting firm Greene & Associates, Inc.
Engaging 28 alumni in personal finance education
Creating space to host 1:1 career conversations with more than 110 alumni
Rebuilding the Trinity University Alumni LinkedIn group with over 7700 members
As we enter our second year, we are excited to grow and support Trinity alumni by expanding current resource offerings and developing new programs and events! With that in mind, the ACE team is creating this blog as a tool to provide a more dynamic reserve of information, including career development advice, LinkedIn hacks, resource recommendations, event updates, and more. We will provide monthly updates to not only help break through the clutter of information but also aggregate and recommend items that are useful and relevant to the growth and strength of the Trinity community.
Furthermore, I welcome fellow alumni to share their own wisdom on professional development with the community! We would be happy to highlight helpful referrals and advice that can support the advancement of Trinity alumni. This is meant to be a space where Tigers help Tigers. Enjoy!
